Revibe II or Space?
If you had a choice between these two reverbs, which one would it be?
Is one of them easier on the CPU if used natively? |

Re: Revibe II or Space?
only one:
Revibe Space is nice but IRs only have so tweakable so unless it's exactly what you want it may not work well

Re: Revibe II or Space?
Revibe before Space for sure. (IMHO)

Re: Revibe II or Space?
I may be the dissenter here but I don't like the way Revibe sounds personally. I have Space and like it but there are other reverb options that I go to before either of those depending on the situation.
For post work I use AltiVerb quite a bit but for music I use Redline Reverb or one of the Lexicon plugs and occasionally a Space or AltiVerb gear IR (usually a Lexicon, AMS or EMT plate). I have heard only good things about PhoenixVerb and R2 from Exponential Audio but haven't had a chance to use them myself. |

Re: Revibe II or Space?
The OP asked about just these two. I agree that there may be better choices depending on budget or taste. I very much like the Exponential reverbs, as well as Lexicon, Sonnox, Eventide and a few others. But if I had to have only one between the two the OP asked about It would still be Re-vibe. Having said that, if one of the IRs in Space works "as is" it can sound incredible.

Re: Revibe II or Space?
I like both, but Space is not true stereo, so I mostly use Revibe if the source is stereo. The great thing about these 2 reverbs is they are both AAX-DSP, however if you are only running native then there are other choices that may suit you better.
Exponential Audio reverbs are great, 2CAudio reverbs are great, Lexicons are good but maybe not as tweakable. Even DVerb is perfectly usable in some scenarios.

Re: Revibe II or Space?
IMHO Revibe II all the way. It has tons of good presets that are not perfect, but you can tweak them to be amazing effects. Also, it's extremely reliable when it comes to automation, which is very important to me.

Is there a REvibe II? I only seem to have the plugin REvibe in PT 11.3.1, but works fine and do like it better that space. G

Revibe 2 is the AAX version of Revibe and the license will allow both to be run :)
