Actually there's supposed to be a new version of H3000 (2.5.2) that was announced at AES yesterday (April 22 but it's not up yet on the Eventide site. Here's the AES link: http://news.aesshow.com/2015/04/piec...ctory-plug-in/

There's been reports of long (approx 30 seconds or more) times for patch changes when run in Digital Performer 8 - a fix for that is probably in there. And here's a link to the Eventide forum where an Eventide person (D Gillespie) responds and mentions the 2.5.2 update. The date on this is April 15 (week ago yesterday) but no mention of when the update would be up is mentioned in the thread.

I had forgotten how good UltraChannel is. Cramped UI, but still a really nice plug-in.

It does a bunch of things nicely one of which (for me) is to thicken up vocals from a thin-sounding recording. Loving the micro pitch shift section.

That's precisely what I used it for yesterday, a vocal recording that lacked a little "oomf". O-pressor, little bit of low-mid boost, Microshift with mix knob almost all the way down, and just a tiny bit of those stereo delays.

The gate is pretty nice too, but it needs a hold control.
