Default D/L Failure with DigiDelivery.....

I've a file (Folder of files I think), that support linked me to at Digi that require digidelivery to download. The file is just a hair over 3.4GB. When I try to d/l it it gets to about 3GB then stops for a bit and throws a D/L failure message.

Anyone know how to get around this issue? I've tried a 3rd party d/l manager (getright) but it doesn't recognize the file formats so it aborts before it even begins.

I'm trying to d/l to a Vista Laptop on a backup (internal) drive that has roughly 280GB of open space on it.

My connection is solid and stays in place.

Thanks!

Is the drive formated NTFS or Fat32? In theory Fat32 will still allow a single file up to 4GB I think, so should be ok with 3.4GB, but I have had similar problems copying Quicktimes onto Fat32 drives. If its NTFS then I guess this is a dd problem.

NTFS... Two different computers.. I gave up and got a copy of the disks from another user.

Thanks though. Digi/Aspera has been absolutely silent on it.

Dan.

Does the Vista computer have 32bit or 64bit. I know that DD will crash when closing on Wi7 64 but my expirence was that it would download fine.

Tried on Vista 32 and XP 32... Never tried on Win7 because I had used almost all of my monthly d/l allotment.. (plans stink down here)

I've see folks have issues before with it.. It was probably the link between here and Japan where the file server was..

We're back to our annual whale fights....

Cool.. a month later I get an email from Aspera saying they are opening a ticket... please do not respond.

y'ur killin' me.

EDIT: They've just come back and apologized for my ticket being stuck in a queue for the last month and told me that it was Digi's problem to sort out, not theirs... LOL
