Default oooo, this a long shot - LaunchPad 1

Can anyone point to a method to connect a USB Novation LaunchPad 1 (c 2010) to an Intel mini 6C i7 running Monterey?
PT 2023.#

Or is this not possible?
Tried working with audiomidi, no joy.
Perhaps there are drivers I haven't found?
Or is older than dirt not gonna cut it?
