Default M-Audio KeyStation not functioning

I get 6 or 7 notes to play/record then the keyboard stops working. I get a message at the beginning of each session telling me the M-Audio Keyboard is not being seen.

I have it plugged into a USB port on my iMac.
Someone has suggested that the wireless computer keyboard might be my problem.

I am running PT10, I/O is a Focusrite Saffire 56, Euphonix Artist Mix, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, Mac OS Mountain Lion 10.8.2, Lacie 500GB Firewire Drive.

Does it work if you remove the wireless keyboard and/or any other usb devices?

I have an M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 connected to a MBP via USB which works fine in Pro Tools. I'm not sure if there's an advantage to using usb vs. a MIDI cable - but you might try a MIDI cable into the Saffire as a workaround. For controlling MIDI there shouldn't be a difference between that and using usb AFAIK.

I will try unhooking as much USB as possible, thanks.

The KeyStation is USB only.
