Default What driver...

I just upgraded my pthd8 to pthd9.

But I will only use pthd9 on my new macbook pro with a RME fireface400 interface (I know I won't be able to use HD on my macbook).

I just transfered the pt9 license to a new iLok on my regular mac G5. Now when I'm about to install software and driver on my new macbook, I wonder what driver I should install ? I'm Guessing Firewire 002 or 003... Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Umm...Why would you load a driver for the Digi002 or Digi003 if that is not what you are using? If you are planning on using PT9 with the RME Fireface400, doesn't it make sense to load the driver for the RMS Fireface400? Did I miss something?

Actually you can, you just can't use TDM plug-ins, but if you have the HD iLok asset your PT will be HD even on your laptop.

As Obsidian Dragon pointed out, there would be no reason to install a 002 or 003 driver. You would install the driver for the hardware you are going to use, in your case a Fireface400 driver from RME.
