Some of the W7 issues will likely be addressed in the final release candidate.

I wish there was a sticky for this issue or the 8.03 bits can get pulled. People's ears are too precious.

Mike.
Yea, I installed 8.0.3 awhile back about an hour before reading the warnings. The white noise crept up and got me after a couple months. I think it blew a tweeter on one of my monitors. They're cheap and I wanted to upgrade down the road but I'd rather not have a useless set of speakers...and preferred to wait to upgrade. I'm a hobbyist and don't rely on mixing for my livelihood but, until I can afford to upgrade, I'm mixing with some intermittent distortion in a speaker. (they're not worth getting repaired. I bought them for less than the repair would be.)

I waited a year before taking the plunge to pt8. Although I wish it was a little more developed, it's a huge improvement and I'm thankful every time I sit down with it. I'm not very adept and the features seem to cater to what I need or what I didn't know how to do prior to 8. It's very intuitive. So I feel the bad outweighs the good. Hopefully cs2 comes before some of you guys get attacked by the noise monster.

...and thanks to Tom for his continuing help when people have problems.

One can only guess. if there are no issues with testing, it will likely be soon. But if problems arise they will extend things.

Probably about as high as Structure being a paid upgrade to those who purchased the original version

Or as high as the person/people responsible for the PTIEP debacle

I live in Vancouver, BC and have never been that high!
