Can't find 003 in Syst. Pref Sound

Any Help would be greatly appreciated:
Working with Mac Pro 10.5.8, 8 core, 16G, 003,PT 8.0.1

When I turn on computer and 003, it shows up in Syst. Pref - Sound.

When I launch PT - it is no where to be found.

I have unplugged everything and replugged, Uninstalled PT and re- INST., launched without my iLOk and with, no sound in SP.

PLease tell me what this newbie is overlooking !! THnx in advance!
