Default Proper Way to Spawn Audio over mult.drvs

Question: What is the proper way if you have a current session on one drive that is full and wish to spread out the current audio files to a second drive.
If you manually copy some of the files via finder your Unique Id's will be changed which will confuse the session when you next load correct?
I guess this might not matter if you just ignore the unique Id's but I assume you will need to point the session to the new drive when it looks for the audio files on launch.

Unique ID's should not change. After moving the files on the finder, Launch the session and Simply search all volumes when prompted to find the file in question....select it...etc..All files should be found with no problem.
