Best Windows laptop for pro tools within a budget of €1650 for pro tools
Hi, disclaimer from the get go, I'm probably the dumbest person in these forums when it comes to anything to with laptops, so I wanted to ask someone a lot cleverer (you guys) than myself which laptop they believe is best to download pro tools on, and also within a budget of €1650.
Thanks, Iano |

Re: Best Windows laptop for pro tools within a budget of €1650 for pro tools
Huge subject so I am just going to point out that Pro Tools works best with 2 hard drives and processor speed, ram and bus architecture are all going to be critical as well as you have to consider what interface you will be using as it seems the fastest these days often have thunderbolt and the newest upgrades will probably be headed that direction also. Your personal workflow will also come into play: heavy or light VI use, number of track at once "real world" instrument recording capability needed, average session size, audio for video editing usage requirements, plug ins usage, outboard/hardware insert needs, etc etc etc. I would recommend hitting the forum links for builders of PT specific PC's and applying those concepts
