My HD Native seems to be working as it should and the crazy random bug that would shut it down is gone, as promised. 😊

Maybe its just a certain monitor thing. I had a post going and several dialogue editors were also seeing this bug. This is only running in native mode.

Ok, let me know what I’m doing wrong:

I installed 2023.6, created a 7.1.4 aux track, and am only able to put multi mono plug ins on it. BUT when I create a 7.0.2 track, I can put compatible plugins on it (fab filter + a few others). I know fab filter says they are compatible up to 9.1.6.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Fabfilter does multiple formats for their plugins (AU, VST, etc.) that had wider channels already. Wider channels were just released for Pro Tools -- I would not assume Fab Filter has updated the AAX version (because they haven't.) Everyone needs to keep things in perspective.

LiquidSonics Seventh Heaven Pro, Lustrous Plates Surround and HD Cart works all the way up to 9.x.6 for me and that's about it for now. Everything else I have is 7.1.2. It's gonna be a while for the rest catch up.

AudioSuite preview in Clip by Clip input mode will preserve and correctly playback Clip Gain edits (PT-233775)

AudioSuite plugins will now remember "clip by clip" setting set by user when closing and re-opening the session (PT-258192)

AudioSuite clips that are processed using "Individual File" will process audio and maintain the clip mute state (PT-279892)

These are huge quality of life improvements for dialog editing. Took a million years but here we are

Hey fsrenduro,
Here's a pic you asked for.
As you can see running under Rosetta its easy to see the little mouth noises and breathes. They get buried in the waveform running Native. I opened a case way back when and my response was that Avid was aware and on the case. I opened another case as this is a problem when editing dialogue.
Everything else running great in 2023.6
thx

Same here, after installing PT 2023.6.
Running fine with HD Driver 2023.3.

I’m using an HD Native PCIe / Sonnet Echo Express SEII combo with an Intel Mac Mini and I want to get a Mac Studio soon, but my chassis isn’t supported.

I saw that you are also using an unsupported chassis - did Avid say anything about it causing issues to you or is it just that they don’t test the older chassis?

If my Echo Express SEII works with the Studio now and I don’t need to buy extra stuff that’s great news.
