MBox 2 mini/pro tools 8 LE install error

Just so that everyone knows... a few days ago I used the dload link given to me by tech support (via digi delivery). It took about 14hrs. with my dsl connection, but it was worth it. I was able to install PT 8 easily and I was still able to install all additional files using the disc (bomb factory, etc.). No problems whatsoever... just patience and tedious attention to detail. Dotting all I's and T's helps.

I removed all old plug ins and according to tech support, some dvd drives do not work well with the installers on the PT 8.0 disc. My dvd drive works fine with other programs which caused to me to question tech support and this was their answer... go figure.
