stupid question
On the input page. At the top right there are two buttons. Input Direct and Dyn Pre Eq. vWhat are these?? I'm on standalone so I cant test for differences

No such thing as a stupid question (I have to hope....)
Anyway, these affect the selected input channel's signal wrt built-in processing (not plug-ins or hw inserts). Input Direct lets that channel bypass the built-in EQ and dynamics processing (the per-input strip 4 or 2 band input channel EQ, the per-input strip comp/lim and exp/gate, i.e, dynamics). Great for A/B'ng. Dyn Pre EQ swaps the order in which (the selected channel's) signal is processed with built-in EQ and Dynamics - default (Dyn Pre EQ = off), signal hits the built-in EQ before the comp/lim or exp/gate; enabling Dyn Pre EQ process that channel w/ Dyn first, then built-in EQ.
