Audio Input Monitoring

Hey all, is it possible to toggle Audio Input Monitoring in Pro Tools SE so I can practice playing along without actually recording? Thanks!

If you have the track "armed" for recording, it should send live audio through. Then all you have to do is press play (just don't hit the recording button next to the play button) and you should be able to jam along with the previous recordings.

But the disadvantage is, you lose the effects. I'm still not shure if there is a way around it, or if they purposely did that so you would have to buy the full version. You have the effects when you record, but if you just want to practice, it turns them off.

It pisses me off too because I just run a straight line into the pre-amp, haha. That's what being cheap gets me I guess.
