Default Trim Plugin

Where is the Trim plugin located? It's been suggested multiple times for level adjustments, but even though it's in the Plugin folder, it's nowhere to be found in the Pro Tools software. If I remember correctly, I was told it's in the AudioSuite drop down menu. I've looked there, in every category, but no Trim. Any ideas on why it isn't loading?

Oh ya, while on the subject of the FX's located in the AudioSuite menu, what is the significance of the number next to the Render button? It's usually set to 2.0 by default.

Thanks,
-Adam

Trim plugin is Multi Mono, so be sure to check that part of the pull down menu.

For the other thing, search the manual for Audio Suite handles.

No Trim in the Other section. Also no section titled Multi-Mono. Like I was saying, there is a Trim plugin in the folder, so for whatever reason it's not loading when I open PT. Any suggestions on how to get it to load in and show up? I'd really like to try it out. Thanks.

What version of PT are you running? Windows or Mac?

Try inserting on a track rather than going to AudioSuite. If it's a mono track it should be Insert>Plug-In>Other>Trim. If it's stereo it's Insert>Multi-mono Plug-In>Other>Trim.

In Audiosuite it's Other>Gain for a similar function.
