unsteady clock and meter performance...
Hello,
I've got a strange problem... I recently installed a UAD-1 PCI-e card in my system and now pro tools is acting strange. The card works just fine so I believe that the problem is a preference that the card's installation set. It seems as though the meter display as well as the playback cursor don't move as smoothly anymore. It's much the same as what happens when I get a really large session with a lot of plugs going. Just kinda sluggish. Everything else is very responsive but the meters and the counter/playback head. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? My system: 002R Windows XP sp2 Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor Asus A8N-e MB UAD-1 PCI-e card supported (forget the brand) Firewire PCI card. |

Re: unsteady clock and meter performance...
I notice that the UAD-1 and my firewire PCI card are sharing the same IRQ, does that make a difference?
