Question what is Digi's repair fee structure for PCI-e accel card?

hi all

does anyone happen to know..... what is Digi's repair fee structure for a PCI-e accel card?

flat rate repair?

flat rate to exchange for a refurb card?

or - ?

I may buy one used from an friend of a friend... but it would be out of warranty.

If it was to have problems down the road - what would it cost me?

thanks

Just sent in a PCI X Core, and it was $400 flat I'm pretty sure.

I don't know about the States but over here in Japan I recently got an Accel PCI-e core card replaced and it was just below $600.
And I'd imagine it's cheaper over there.

If it really is $400 I envy you guys!

I just had and old Process card repaired (two bad chips according to DigiTest) and it was $383 return shipped. Turn around was excellent, I was only without the card for about 5 days.

Assuming it's out of warranty, the repair fee is flat-rate and I believe it's $400. You should call the Pro Access line to get this serviced - the line will ask for your credit card info to bill the call, but the tech will reverse the charges since this is for a repair. You should get through relatively quickly - usually within 5 minutes or so.

I had a PCI x accel card replaced less than a year ago and it was just under $500 including FedEx for an overnight replacement. I just sent back my failed card on their fedex account a day or two later Service was great.
