Default problem detected with audio clock Digi 002 rack

Yesterday I purchased a digi 002 rack, installed it following instructions and installed Pro Tools LE v 7.0. Everything seemed fine, but after importing audio tracks and wanted to press the play button the following message appeared: 'Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct' . I've tried just about everything I could think of, but the message keeps popping up.. Pro Tools is also not recieving audio from the digi 002r. Can anybody help me out?

Hi Ben,

Make sure that your hardware setup reflects "Internal Clock" and the sample rate that matches your project. The sample rate is the problem.

If you've imported audio tracks from a CD, for instance, the sample rate will be 44.1. If your project is created for 48K, you will get the message.

I don't have my system available right now. As long as you create a session at the correct rate initally, you'll be OK. In LE you'll also find a menu item (Hardware setup?) where you can check the settings and change them to match the imported files.

Happy recording,

MR

I'm having this identical problem. Last time it showed up and went away seemingly on its own. Now, it's back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
