If you're into printing your stuff and then archiving the real tracks, you could substitute the empty AUX track with a stereo audio track. Just record the four Amplitude tracks to the one stereo audio track properly panned, and then make the four real tracks inactive. If you need to make changes, just re-do the stereo audio track. That would be the most CPU effective way to achieve what you want.

True this would be most efficient CPU-wise but if you want to eq the 4 guitar parts to fit in the mix, compress them separately or send each or some to a reverb, delay or other effects at proper amounts... Then 4 mono audio tracks isn't looking too bad over one stereo audio track.

True.

What you gain in CPU efficiency, you lose in flexibility. What you lose in flexibility, you gain in CPU efficiency. It all depends on what you need to do. As they say, the great thing in digital processing is you have "a million" ways to do it, and the bad thing is you have "a million" ways to do it.

So, you just need to decide what you want to do.

Btw. PT 11 has a bug that mutes the audio if panned all the way right or left!!!
