Default Topic ID Suggestion

Since we are going to share 001, 002, and MBOX on one forum may I suggest a standard topic ID to help us select or skip messages based on platform:

[001] - specific to the 001
[002] - specific to the 002
[mbox] - specific to MBOX (when it's finally available)

otherwise thread is considered general or generic

Good idea guys.
But I have to say that web admin ought to create another seperate forum for the 002.It is a completely different animal from the 001. In fact, it does not even use the same software.
I think that the whole DUC needs a rethink and reshuffle.a fresh take on it would do no harm at all.I think the host systems directory can be split for starters beween Mac and PC.The each can have its own subforums dealing with various products. We already have a WHOLE seperate forum just for User configurations, which could easily be part of the regular PC forum. Why not have one for the 002?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I suggested that in another thread but I got flogged... so short of that, I suggest using some sort of ID marker for threads whose subject/topic is not obvious in and of itself.

Sounds good to me, too. Until there are seperate forums for 001, 002 and MBox, I'm gonna start my topic with a 1, 2, or M.
