Anything less than sample accurate may work for some, but when clients are involved we need exact timeline placement.
8.0.1 cs2 in XP and 8.0.4 in OSX are still the clear winners here.

003R is sample accurate on my system for the most part.

11R has small amount of latency only with the mic when testing. Playing guitar is spot on.

Since i use the 003R as my main interface and the 11R via SPDIF, everything is within a margin of error. Zooming all that way in confirms this. 8.0.4cs 2 with Windows 7 64 bit is great. Good job Avid.

Running the audio placement test with a cable from an out on the 003 to a line in the audio is dead on for me. I tried 3 different buffer settings too.

Now I did get 3 errors when installing the driver - I wonder if it's because I uninstalled the old driver first? Avid may need to clarify the exact intsructions for installing the update and drivers. Anyway, it works for me (so far) so I'm happy at the moment!

here's my problem...better placement on OSX vs W7!!! i appreciate Avid's effort with the fixes. but bottomline is i want/NEED workin' drivers for W7!!!
