FW Case to house my ATA 500g drive
I have a 500g Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm ATA drive I'd like to put in a FW case (pref with 400and 800 ports)
Any suggestions for where to get a good one with a qualified Oxford chip? Had bad luck with OWC last time around...

Re: FW Case to house my ATA 500g drive
OWC uses the Oxford chips and have worked quite well. The only issue is on the older OS, that some of their chips need a driver installed on the boot volume but just once.
I've been using these chips and cases for years with no problems at all. Best of luck! G |
