Unable to maintain external clock w/002R
I'm unable to maintain external clock with my 002r clocking to a Digital Timpiece. I'm sending MTC out of the 002r to the DTP in order to convert MTC to SMPTE and I'm setting my clock to external spdif, but it seems to revert back to internal after I set the parameter. My setup consists of a powerbook g4 1.33ghz OSX v10.3.8 and PT v6.7, w/dv toolkit. I'm using a pcmcia cardbus(firewire) on my g4 to connect to the 002r and I'm using the other firewire ports for my external drives. If I connect the 002r to the firewire port on the g4 it works fine, it's only when I'm using the cardbus that it doesn't allow me to set the external clock. Is there a way, or a work around using my cardbus?
