YES ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT THIS I KNOW

But I literally can't listen to a whole song without getting this error, not even once. It's making bouncing impossible, I'm having to create an audio track and route everything to that and when it stops I have to go back a bit and start recording again, to bounce. It is ridiculous surely there must be a fix to this...

I'm on 9.0.1 as I heard there were a lot of trouble with 9.0.2...

I'm on a 2009 mac book pro and I have the processors set to 1 with maximum buffer size.

Come on guys this is killing me... surely I can't be the only one with this problem although I hope I am because that means it can be resolved.

Just been through all of the optimisation settings, taken out all plug-ins that aren't standard, still happening!!!

Adam -

To dig into this we're going to need very specific information. When you say you've done 'all the optimizations' - can you tell us exactly which ones?

What other troubleshooting have you done? Test from a new admin account? Test with the session on the system drive or a different drive?

Please give us all the details you can in one post, so we're not having to bounce around on the DUC trying to piece together the information you've posted about your system.

Go through the General Troubleshooting thread and tell us which of the steps you've tried and if any symptoms changed after doing them. We'll need to know your OS version, how much RAM you have installed, what model/brand drive you have, etc. etc (the more detail you can provide, the better).
