Not really. You referred to 8.5 release hopefully having ADC. There IS NO 8.5 RELEASE. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR AN UPGRADE TO .ver 9 to get ADC. I pretty much figured that there was NO WAY Avid was going to offer up ADC for free to existing users of their software. It is total BS!!!

A incremental release probably would have been free. A new number release, unless you are Reaper, isn't.

So, you pay $250 for ADC. Have fun with that. When Reaper finally gets some form of Elastic Audio, I am jumping from this ship!

Actually, I have plug-ins that do much less for me than ADC does and paid more than $250. for them.

I would also like to point out that ver 9 DOES NOT fix the issue this thread is originally about. So, you pay $250 to have the same broken software.

The only other place I see people allowing somebody (thing) to treat them like Avid/Digidesign does is in S&M circles! LOL

I get it now!

ForVan is a masochist. That's the only logical reason why he continues to bang his head against the wall using software he clearly doesn't like so he can come here and complain to people who don't agree with him.

Hey DTS, can you confirm that this driver is still a "top priority"?

It's been a long time since we've had a properly working driver on Windows...

Yeah I would love an update as well. I've halted all tracking on my current projects, and I'm running out of mixes to tweak!
