Default Moving MIDI notes and control data (sustain) simultaneously?

Hi!
At the time, I'm editing a MIDI track (fed into Mini Grand) to fit a vocal track. That means moving the notes quite a bit. The MIDI was recorded using my MIDI keyboard, and is very dependant on the use of the sustain pedal. The problem is the following:

Let's say I've marked the whole track from a certain point and to the end, and I want to drag the notes a couple of seconds backwards. The sustain data stays in the exact same position, and I cannot find a way to move it. This leaves me having to manually edit every single one of the sustain on/off-points.

Is 'Automation Follows Edit' enabled?

MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM (MBP ver. 3,1)
OS X 10.5.8

Pro Tools LE 8.0.1
Mbox 2 and Mbox 2 Micro

With regards to troubleshooting: I do not know if this is and error or if it's only me not knowing a certain technique. Therefore, I cannot say I have done specific troubleshooting. However, I've tried enabling and disabling "Automation follows edit", using different marking (dragging the marker tool over both the midi track and the sustain data subtrack), using different tools and edit modes.

Is there at least a possibility to drag segments of the sustain data, and not just the individual control points? E.g. marking a segment of the sustain data subtrack, and use the grab tool to move it.

If you copy and paste the region to an Instrument can you select the region and drag it down the line and does the Sustain breakpoints follow with the VCA Lane open? What about they Automation? Have you also tried a sustain pass with a new session?

I'd guess that you're selecting and moving the notes in Notes view. You need top be in Region view, split the region at the point where you want to move it, and drag or nudge the whole region(s).

Yeah, I've thought about that, and that works. What I wanted to do, was to move a segment of notes and move it, though that seemingly is impossible.
