DAE Error -1501, Pro Tools won't launch - help!

Mac OSX 10.2.6, Pro Tools LE 6.1, Digi001

Everytime I go to launch Pro Tools, I get DAE Error -1501. I've searched the Digidesign website along several different combination searches at Google and nothing comes up. What does this error code mean?

FYI- This is a brand new system and it was working perfectly before the holiday weekend. I came in this morning, booted it up and this is what I was greeted with... DAE Error -1501

there is a link above named "Search the DUC".
I entered "1501" and set it to scan the past year. it returned many results.
try it for yourself...

I tried...

1) Completely uninstalling 6.0 and 6.1, then I re-installed. Didn't work.

2) Completely uninstalling 6.0 and 6.1, then I re-installed under a different user. Didn't work.

Well... those were the two suggestions given when I did the DUC search. Anyone else have an idea?
