Midi velocity gets recorded BUT NOT played back!

Hi guys,



i am freaking out here. First of all I am new to pro tools and I have Pro Tools Artist.



I am creating an instrument track stereo and applying Kontakt 7 Plugin with some Piano (but it doesnt matter which VST i use). So I record some MIDI notes with low and high velocity values. Inside the MIDI editor I can see that my MIDI data got recorded just fine. All the different velocity values are there. When I let the recorded notes play back, I hear every note with the exact same superlow velocity! Even while recording I hear only one equal amount of velocity on every note doesnt matter how hard oder soft I push the keys. Nevertheless my different velocity values from playing by Hand get recorded anyway.


So everything gets recorded the right way but not played back. I was already looking through all the options, searching the internet even aksing chatgpt for help.



Garageband works fine. I creat an instrument track and go for it I hear velocities while playing and recording and also on the playback.


Please anyone have an answer. Thank you so much for helping out!!

Is the velocity set to a fixed value in the midi real time properties for your midi tracks?

Hey, meanwhile Igot it figures out. It seemed to be a problem with the Plugin itself. I changed the Plugin, restartet the Software and the Problem was gone.
