Can Pro Tools do this yet...
Don't have much experience in 11 just yet, and have no 11 systems running HD or HD Native. Since 11 added offline bounce I wondered if they also added any way to:
1. Bounce to polyphonic (multitrack) wav file. The format supports it. PT supports importing them. Pro tools supports creating 5.1 as multmono files, but through PT10 there was no way to bounce to a multitrack wav file. The 'bounce to disc' dialog in 11 looks like it supports adding multiple paths, and then allows for interleaved but I'm assuming it still makes a bunch of individual stereo pairs and I assume 5.1 outputs are not valid selections for the 'bounce to' dialog. True? 2. Bounce to a multitrack quicktime. Again format supports it. PT recognizes when importing them, but through PT10 there was no way to bounce to a multitrack QT container file. Again, The 'bounce to quicktime' dialog in 11 looks like it supports adding multiple paths, and then allows for interleaved as the format but I'm assuming it still makes a bunch of individual stereo pairs (and probably a QT file for each one...) and I assume 5.1 outputs are not valid selections for the 'bounce to' dialog. True? Can anyone confirm still no dice?
