Default Runtime Crash C++ Visual...Help!!!!

Help!!! Please! I have tried uninstalling PTMP 7.4cs8 and reinstalling. I have removed all wrapped plug-ins, now using only well known plug ins (IK, NI etc) - still my sessions crash with the 'Runtime C++ error' and it quits the programme and then I have to reboot telling me that the application has 'terminated in an unusual way'. I have trashed all of the databases and Prefs (more times than I can remember) - but it still won't let me work.... Is this damaging my DAW?

Can anyone help me - I am getting close to losing my mind!!!

Thanks in advance,

Tony
