Default Lost Authorization Code for PT 8

I had to reinstall PT 8 since I was having issues with my MAC and now it's asking me for an Authorization Code while it's loading.

It seems that the Production Toolkit is being loaded through my iLok, but at some point I am asked to put in my authorization code.

I purchased PT 8 back in 2009 and last year I did the free upgrade to 8.0.5. I did an uninstall, leaving 3rd party content intact, but now when I launch PT8 it asks me for the code. I lost the piece of paper that had it on so all I have is my registration cards and 3rd party software activation codes. When

I log into my avid account and select lost LE authorization codes and I only get codes for PT 7.1.x and earlier, but the one that came with my 003 rack was 8 so I don't understand why it wouldn't be there. Do I need to contact Avid or the dealer I bought it from?

I need to finish a project and now I'm stuck with software I cannot run.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed the latest Pace Drivers? you need both. The Driver and the client helper. If you have the CPTK or MPTK than the asset is on your iLok. I assume you have an iLok with the correct assets. If not uninstalling the toolkit should eliminate the authorization screen
