I LOVE my 001 too! Haven't used it in a couple months so I'm giving it to my brother. Man it's HARD to let go of!!!

Another very happy 001 user here for several years. I have paired mine with a good outboard
converter, and now I have the control surface to match I also got a presonus central station for the monitoring end. I have never owned a Digi 002, but based on what I have read, a dedicated pci card is a more stable and robust method of communicating audio back and forth with the computer bus. Mine runs great all the time. However PT 7 is the first version that I have considered in a while, it has many features that I would like. I will wait, as others, for a Digi 003.
