WHYYYY do you contimue on this hamster wheel?!?!?! As soon as you're happy, they pull the rug out with another OS /non supported newerr bug version....

That’s all well and good if you never plan to change your workflow and a lot people might fall into that category.

But, there are a lot of people that like to take advantage of new features introduced in the software that can improve our workflow and end product.

Also, some new plugins and software require new updated operating systems. If you park your system on an old OS you’re not able to access some of the newer tools. I say this as someone who routinely stays two OS revisions behind in my studio, but have had to upgrade at times due to the above.

So yeah, not everyone can just park their system indefinitely. Not to mention, new machines come with new OS’ that can’t necessarily be downgraded.

to me its like waiting to fix your roof because your hammers too heavy or something, and your hoping in a magical way that the roof will somehow fix itself! while you wait......or the hammer will change , when all of your empircal evidence and experience show NEITHER thing will occur, and its rainng out, and waters pouring in the roof......what should I do.......hmmmmm, i know I'll wish and bitch for someone to do something....

I KNOW i cant be creative without 14 synths and 17 meter options , heck who could? without everything brand new , who could possibly be creative, i mean all the best IP was created in the last 6 years anyway......

Your being beyond silly.

If you can’t see how non real-time bounce and commit speed up workflows, then I don’t know what to say.

Those two features alone have sped up workflows in leaps and bounds.

Seriously, just because you can work with a DAW feature set from the 90’s, doesn’t mean that modern features and workflows are pointless.

I think you need to open your mind just a touch.
