Quicktime 7 and Panther
Does anyone have the final verdict on whether or not PRo Tools will work fine if I install Quicktime 7 on 10.3.8? What about running Pro Tools with 10.3.9? Even though it's not supported will it work?

Re: Quicktime 7 and Panther
hi, no one replied and i had a similar problem so perhaps i can help you. I'm running 10.3.9 with PT 6.9 mix TDM system. I was unable to open FCP and i was told by both apple and digi that it was the other one's fault. Turns out it was Quicktime 7.0.4 that was causing the issue. I've reinstalled 7.0.1 (download from the apple site) and my problems went away.
So for my part 7.0.1 works but i wouldn't update after that |
