D-Control is only 16 or 32 faders (or more). Maybe you mean D-Command?
No matter - if you command-control click a fader you get the volume automstion line. IF you command-control while pressing a channel's "select" button this switches that track to waveform view. Same for mute button, send levels, etc etc.

Mikey, I think you mean Command-Control and then touch a fader to show the volume.

Alternatively a good keyboard shortcut for that is holding down Ctrl + Command and toggling left and right on the arrows on your kb.

Control + Command and then touching the fader or encoder for any automatable parameter would bring up that parameter in the track view display.

Pan / send levels / plugin parameters / anything you can bring up on a fader or touch sensitive encoder on your controller.

As already mentioned ... selecting the mute switch will bring up that one and the select switch will always bring you back into waveform view.
