Default System requirement ?

Hi ,

I would like to try the Pro Tools M- Powered 2 studio on my lap top.

I have 4 gigs of RAM and am running Vista.

I see the minimum processor requirement is 1.8 ghz.

I have 1.66 core 2 duo.

Anybody know if Pro Tools Essentials will run on my system with a not quite up to par processor?

Thanks,

LT

Welcome to the DUC. I'm not sure, but I'm certain someone here has done what you want to do and can help out.

If it is an Intel Core 2 Duo, then the processor should be fast enough for Pro Tools. But I think the reason no one is replying is because it is not clear from your post exactly which hardware and software combination you are asking about.

I think you mean Pro Tools M-Powered Essential software when you say "PTE".

But I've never heard of the "PT m2 studio".

My bad. Yes I am talking about Pro Tools M-powered Essentials.

If I try it i would most likely get the small studio box interface.

Thanks for your reply.

If anyone else has run essentials on a slightly under powered processor, please let me know how it is working out for ya.

Thanks,

LT
