PC Save Session Copy In 5.0 BWF files?
I remember reading somewhere on this site that When you Save Session Copy in to Pro Tools 5 [PC] it actually writes WAVE files, not BWF files.
Someone said BWF was introduced in 5.1 I have confirmed and for some reason they are outputted as BWF files in 5.0 SAve Session Copy IN? Am I doing something wrong and will this work ok? Will an older system be able to open it up if the wav files are actually BWF? |

Re: PC Save Session Copy In 5.0 BWF files?
Any program which doesn't support the BWF bext chunk should just ignore it and still open the WAV files fine.
If memory serves there's a preference about AES31 in version 5.0 Rail
