Default XARC Mastering??

Has anyone used the online XARC Mastering service? I've been in contact a few times, the website seems legit and the prices are cheap. Has anyone got any advice on this?

Thanks

P.S. their website is here XARC Mastering

Am I advertising them for free?
Anyway, I think I'll be using them soon and I'll tell of my experiences...

Haven't heard of him (them). He seems legit, though for those prices you can get someone with better credits - I don't see production credits on his website, actually.

As a suggestion, since you're in Australia - I highly recommend you check out some US-based mastering engineers vs. European ones, since the US dollar is particularly weak right now and the Euro is a bit strong, so you are likely to decent US$ rates for your Aussie dollar. Just a thought.

The 'online' mastering thing is kind of a marketing gimmick, since all it is is an FTP server. All you're doing is uploading your tracks via FTP for the engineer to download, and then sending you back the mastered tracks - either via FTP or mailed to you on a high quality CD-R.
