Where\'s the Video Engine?
Trying to install 7.4.1 on a fresh OSX 10.5.1 system. Getting no option to install the "Avid Video Engine" for my Mojo SDI. Everything else installs beautifully, but I've got no picture. I even threw in a 7.3 installer disc to see if the option came up there, but no. Mojo shows up in System profiler as being the only firewire device on the internal mac bus.
Any ideas? Thanks, Stephen |

Re: Where\'s the Video Engine?
That's because there's no support for Mojo on Leopard yet...

Re: Where\'s the Video Engine?
OK. Please excuse the bleary-eyed nature of this....
I've done the downgrade to 10.4.11, and when attempting to clean install PT 7.4, I get no install option for "Video Engine". What else could I be overlooking? I also attempted a 7.3.1 install as well, to see if I got it there, but no luck. Again, the Mojo shows up as the only FW device on its bus, but the installers don't seem to recognize it. Any ideas on a Friday night? -S |

Re: Where\'s the Video Engine?
When I attempted the 7.4 install, I was using I believe, a 7.4.1 disk image. I'm downloading a 7.4 image now, and Im hoping that'll be the answer.
