Default Waves plugins

Hi, I re-installed my Waves plugins so that PT would see them(I use to be with cubase SX2.0) but now the menus in AudioSuite are all crewed. Is there a way to fix this? Like remove the ones I don't want in certain menus...?

Thanks

Me again, you can revert to no category view in Setups>preferences>uncheck the box that says Display Plugins in Categorys or something like that. These are all very simple questions with all due respect I suggest you read the Reference Guide.

Thanks Bazzle, and I am reading the manual as I'm writing. I guess I never reached this part. I don't recall seeing something about arranging your plugins menu...

You can't rearrange it as such, but you can just leave it the way it was in previous versions, by making the choice I described.Which for me at least makes it easier..Welcome to the DUC I didn't mean to sound harsh..The reference guide will no doubt become your best friend.

Unfortunately you'll need to wait for waves to update their plugins for better organisation. The classification system was designed by digi but it is up to plugin developers to assign the appropriate categories, at the moment there seems to be a bit of a teething period while plugin developers catch up with the new updates.

It'll be great once it's all sorted out.

Cheers,
Marcus

It will be great if all the plugins get properly updated. It would have been even better if Digi had created a system to reassign plugins to an appropriate category, so we could make this work correctly right away. This would also allow us to get arbitrary 'wrapped VST' plugins into appropriate places.

It would definately be a bonus to be able to put the plugins in a specific category. Can we ask for this in the next update???

Personaly I think the whole thing is stupid to start with, what is so hard about letting us make our own folders for our plugins.
