Hello there, I have a mid sized Mix+ system ( 2 Core, 3 Mix cards 64 i / o ) that´s been running quite reliably for some years ( 6.4 / 10.3.9 ) and I just recently ran into DAE -1 errors after bad power blackouts / faulty UPS:s etc . I thought the cards / interfaces suffered some damage but eventually:

Trashing prefs was all that was needed.

Ok....kinda got it working again. At least I get playback, but now on an audio track I see level...for no reason. No input, no plugs. Bursts of noise of some kind that show up on the track meter as well as the 888 meter. Panning a mono track hard left will still show this level as 1-2 on the 888.

Very weird...and getting weirder by the minute...

That happened to my mix core. Ran digitest it failed with a bad I/O chip.
