Default Delay compensation with backline delay

I love being able to backline delay individual channels on the profile venue, keeping the vocals undelayed and the drums and amps delayed. However there seems to be no easy way to see how much processing delay is already on the signal paths. I would like to subtract that processing delay from the actual backline delays.
What is the analog input to analog output processing delay without plugins engaged? (the specs say "less than 2.8ms" so is that 2.8ms or does it vary?)
Do I have to manually calculate the total plugin delay? (2 samples per plugin plus plugin(s) delay plus 3 samples) Or is there a way to see that automatically?

You could use your FFT program of choice... smaart, systune, etc.

Hi Chuck,

There is a way to see the total plug-in delay for inserts on a channel. In the Inputs or Outputs page, right-click anywhere in the Inserts section to reveal the Total Process Delay.

If you want to delay to the backline then i would delay the whole PA to the Backline, by doing it to individual channels and not the whole thing you are introducing a ton of phase smear into your mix, remember the drums get into every mic on stage, even if just a tiny bit it will cause phase issues.

I delay my whole PA between 10 and 25ms all the time and no one ever notices on stage
