Pro tools on an intel mac running windows?
The studio I work at has always run pro tools on a PC, next week, the management is buying an 8 core intel mac, from the threads I've read, the Leopard release hasn't quite settled in yet, does anyone know if it would be possible to run pro tools on one of these machines formatted with windows xp using boot camp until the bugs are out and all the plugs are updated?
Kind regards |

Re: Pro tools on an intel mac running windows?
I'm 99,99% sure that won't work.
Better is to have an experienced Mac Tech downgrade your Mac Pro to OS 10.4.11. We had to replace our Windows HD PC's and the two new 8-cores are working like a charm in Tiger. Best Regards, John
