problem recording with eleven rack

i just got an eleven rack, and pluged it in sounds realy nice going through pro tools, but first only mono comes out, and when i record and playback you can just hear the dry guitar going in not the simulated sound, can someone please help

What did you set your track input to? Guitar or Eleven Rig?

Guitar means the dry signal going in to the GUITAR INPUT on the front of the unit.

Eleven Rig (L/R) means the signal coming from the 11R Rig (amp, cab, effects, ect...)

You want Eleven Rig for the effected sound.

You can use Eleven Rig with Mono or Stereo Audio Tracks or AUX tracks if you just want to monitor.

If after making those settings you still do not get the correct sound, default your IO.

how do i get the L/R signal coming from the unit, instead of it just going through the interface as dry?? sorry im pretty new at pro tools too

On your STEREO TRACK, set the input to Eleven Rig L/R

If you do not have that option, default your IO and try again

i think i found my problem, in the i/0 menu on the track there is no eleven rack listed, but in the playback engine it is, why is this?

Are the drivers installed?

Did you watch the video I linked that will show you how to default the IO?
