Salvaging Corrupted Audio Files
Is there a fairly painless way of salvaging corrupted files? I keep getting these DAE error messages; and from the reading I have done, I have concluded that my files must be corrupted in a few sessions. After having done a clean uninstall of 8.0.1 and installed 8.0.3, I am having the same problems. so, i don't think it's because of digi prefs, corrupted fades (which I never do) or any kind of logjam of old files.
is there a way to identify if the file is corrupted or not? if so, is there any way to save it? thanks. PT 8.0.3 iMac 24" intel duo core 003 console |

Re: Salvaging Corrupted Audio Files
having problems with the entire session. but if i place the cursor at a point beyond where the audio ends, then the session will "play." meaning, the transport will run and the song position line moves. this leads me to conclude that the problem is with the files.
