Problems exporting MIDI files from Pro Tools 5.2.1
hello!
I am having real problems exporting a midi files from a session in Pro Tools 5.2.1 The problem is that we are going to a studio in London to mix down on Sunday and we want to take the midi files too, however when I export them, they don't seem to import into the latest version of Pro Tools, Logic or even Cubase! This happens if i export it as a type 0 or type 1. I'm making sure the whole file is consolodated before i do this, then selecting it, going to file, and exporting midi, then selecting the type and exporting. Once i've done this when i've emailed it so it can be used on other computers, burnt it onto a disk or stuck it on a memory stick it doesn't seem to be a proper midi file, and doens't open up!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I will also post this on the MIDI section too - apologies if you are reading it twice!) |
