Default UC-33 and Legacy Midi Drivers with PTLE 8

Hi all I was wondering if anyone had a version of PTLE 8 with their evolution UC-33 midi controller functioning. I downloaded the legacy drivers for PTLE 8 and set my midi controller to CS-10. This caused the midi in and out options to become grayed out. Therfore not allowing me to chose my UC-33 as the device.

I have a preset for my UC-33 making it emulate the CS-10 in PT however I am not able to set it as the in or out. Has anyone gotten this to work? I would love to get a cmd8 or 003 but no flow right now for that. I do have this UC-33 and would like to get it running.

Cheers

Dang, thanks man. That is some bullocks! So I guess the question is, can the UM-33 emulate anything that IS currently supported with PT 8 and if not, what are the cheapest options for a couple of knobs and faders in PT?

The Behringer BCF2000 is probably the best bang for the buck. I've been using one for about 3 years now and it does the job just fine. While they're not very quiet, it's nice to have motorized faders. Probably the only thing it really lacks is touch sensitivity but I never really felt like I've missed it.
