Default Slow midi editing

So trying this again since my subscription ran out.
My problem is when I am editing midi, the result is delayed. For example if I try to trim a note the tool does not immediately engage the note. Then there is a 5 second delay before the note is highlighted and the edit appears.

Thanks!!~

Eb

If you have an optical drive(CD, Blueray or DVD), make sure there is no disk in the drive

And make sure any possible floppy drive is disabled in BIOS as well.
