Install the dual core and AMD hotfixes available in the General Troubleshooting thread.

Hi,
Thanks for the response!

I looked around the General Troubleshooting thread but can not find the dual core and AMD hotfixes. Where are they?

Thank you again!

It seems they have been removed from the General Troubleshooting thread for some reason. Probably because the dual core hotfix is included in XP SP3? Installing SP3 from Microsoft will get you the dual-core hotfix (plus a whole lot more).

The AMD Dual core optimizer is, however, listed at the bottom of the Windows XP Optimizations and Troubleshooting page, which is linked from the General Troubleshooting page.
