PT9: plugins missing after Yosemite upgrade
Hi, All.
We just recently upgraded our OS to Yosemite. Anyone else on PT9 having issues with plugins not showing up (either in the Mix or Edit windows)? Any help is appreciated before we either have to revert back to the prior OS or consider upgrading to PT11. Thanks. |

Re: PT9: plugins missing after Yosemite upgrade
Why would you upgrade? An OS that your DAW is not supported on?
I mean you really have to start asking yourself some serious question as to why you feel the need to change what is not broken. Stop upgrading it is not like it is adding any audio performance benefit.

Re: PT9: plugins missing after Yosemite upgrade
well you really stepped in it
reverting is your best option, hopefully you made a clone of your system before the upgrade or at least have the original OS instal disk(s) without knowing what your computer is we can not make any further recommendations. 11 wants an i7 CPU and 8 GB of RAM to run well, anything less is problematic

Re: PT9: plugins missing after Yosemite upgrade
Never upgrade. Always do a clean install. So backup your stuff, erase your system drive, and start over. Install everything from the scratch.
Here are the instructions for clean install.
